In October 2012 I will have my first solo exhibition in Amsterdam, it's about diamonds and jewelry. I am doing a lot of research now and came across this great picture. It shows Washington post scion Edward Beale McLean and his wife Evalyn Walsh. They are the former owners of the Hope diamond, which is on view now at the Smithsonian museum in Washington DC. It's probably the second most visited artwork in a museum after the Mona Lisa in the world. The Hope diamond today's worth is estimated on $ 200 -$ 250 million.
